One Direction are allegedly planning to make the most of Justin Bieber hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons recently and plan to show that Harry Styles is the better role model.
After the 'Boyfriend' singer was accused of reckless driving recently and one of his bodyguards allegedly attacking a photographer, Justin hasn't exactly been the perfect idol parent's want their children to look up to. One Direction's management have reportedly seen an opportunity and are said to have a plan in place to convert Bieber's millions of fans into Directioners instead.
Parents of Justin's fans are said to be disappointed with the singer and his behaviour because they pay for the concert tickets and all the merchandise, yet he turned up hours late to one of his concerts, and after the singer was pictured attacking a photographer in London, parents of Bieber's fans feel British boy band One Direction may be better idols.
A source told Radar Online that One Direction's management are hoping that Harry Styles could be Justin's replacement and a much better idol.
“A lot of the girls that loved Bieber are now crushing on Harry Styles and it’s not lost on the boys of One Direction. Both them and their team is fully aware that they are gaining fans who used to love Bieber, and they know it’s the perfect time to capitalise on it and swoop in to replace him.”
Apparently parents of the younger Justin fans are completely behind their children switching from Beliebers to Directioners because they worry about the influence his latest actions will have on their children and they feel that Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne are more respectable and clean cut.
The source also added: “All of the little girls that loved Bieber don’t love him anymore because ‘he’s bad’ and they are moving on to One Direction.”
It is said that the parents of the younger fans have actually grown tired of Bieber's behaviour: “The parents of these young fans are resentful of Justin’s behaviour and don’t think he’s a wholesome influence on their children anymore,” and as a result they want to try something new, “so they’re pushing for their kids to like One Direction instead.”
If the plans to swoop in and steal all the fans are true, One Direction may not actually be a part of it as Louis Tomlinson recently tweeted the singer saying: “Although I don’t know him personally, I do wish the press would take it easy on @justinbieber .” Zayn Malik then responded: “@Louis_Tomlinson what a dude man ha got your back bro !! @justinbieber.”
