This fall, Emma Watson is heading back to Brown University to complete three more classes, and graduate. She's justifiably proud of finishing what she started.
"I'm really close," she says.
And once she's earned her degree, she's planning on hitting the stage.
"I'd love to try theater. I've never done it before. I did some theater at Brown. I love the camaraderie of a theater group," says Watson. "As soon as I graduate, that's my next (thing)," says Watson, who appeared in a production of The Three Sisters in college.
This summer, Watson sports a spray tan and heaps of lip gloss as a criminal teen in Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring.
"That's good that you're finishing," Coppola tells Watson during a joint interview. "It's good that you stuck to it."
Watson can't really understand being as obsessed with celebrity culture as the faux-zen character she plays in Coppola's film, based on real events that make truth seem even stranger than fiction. "I never had the chance to be bored, ever. I was always so crazy busy," says Watson, who grew up on the Harry Potter film sets in England.
