Selena Gomez has already revealed that she intends to celebrate her 21st later this month in style and it seems the Disney star gave herself a pre-birthday treat as she was spotted getting stuck in to a spot of retail therapy over the weekend.
The Spring Breakers actress was snapped clutching onto several massive goody bags after visiting trendy clothing store Free People in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles.
Selena was joined by a pal for her girly outing and looked her usual trendy self in a leopard printed headband, casual vest top, leggings, sandals, capping off her 70s look with a quirky pair of rotund sunnies.
While she guest-hosted Toronto's New Music Live last week, Selena admitted looking forward to having a big blow out for her birthday bash, confessing she was looking forward to finally being legally able to drink in the US.
"In America 21 is 'the age' so I am going to actually have a really big party I'm gonna invite my friends and family and I'm definitely going to celebrate," she told the audience.
While Selena’s career has been on the up, the same, unfortunately, can’t be said about her on/off beau Justin Bieber, who has been mired in controversy after controversy.
The Boyfriend singer is being investigated by police for allegedly driving recklessly near his LA home. Despite the popstar’s claim that he wasn’t behind the wheel when the incident occured, TMZ have claimed the teen swapped places with his rapper pal Tyler The Creator at the last minute.
Meanwhile, Selena, who is believed to be on a "trial period" with Bieber isn’t taking his bad boy behaviour lightly this time around after sources revealed that she won't stand for him toying with her emotions.
"She has told him that if he f***s with her emotions too much, she will drop him," a source told HollywoodLife. "Justin and Selena are dating but they are taking things slow."
