Selena Gomez has a little sister - and her pal Demi Lovato has been at the front of the line with sending well-wishes via Twitter!
As we reported earlier today, the new arrival makes Selena a big sister for the first time.
It will be a moment of elation for Mandy Teefey and her husband Brian, who previously suffered a miscarriage in 2011.
Demi tweeted tonight: "@selenagomez IS A BIG SISTER!!!!!! Everyone congratulate her and her family!!!!!! #CONGRATSSELENA!!!! #CONGRATSSELENAMANDYANDBRIAN !!!!!!"
She later tried to kickstart a trend, typing: "RT #CONGRATSSELENAMANDYANDBRIAN !!!!!!"
Selena herself had made the pregnancy public when, on the US Mother's Day, she posted a pic with her ma; her large baby bump clearly visible under her sweater.
She had written: "Hope all the amazing moms had a great day! I have the best momma in the world :)) I love you so much!"
She has not taken to her Twitter page since the birth to comment.
It is not known what the name of the little tot is, but hopefully both mother and child are happy and healthy!
