Can we expect to see Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez on American Idol...as judges? It's possible!
According to RadarOnline.com, AI officials are over the Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj drama and are looking to to add a "dream team" celebrity judging panel next season. The site is reporting that some of the names in talks to become show judges are Justin, Selena, P!nk, and P. Diddy.
Right now neither Keith Urban, Randy Jackson, Mariah or Nicki have a secured spot on the talent show next season. The only one promised a position is the host, Ryan Seacrest.
"That's why they want to go big next season, and you can't get any bigger than Justin Bieber. The executives are calling it their dream team because who wouldn't tune in to see Justin and Selena, Pink and Diddy? Pink has been approached in the past and turned it down as well as Diddy, who wanted too much money. It will cost a fortune to get them, but the show has gotten so stale that Fox is desperate for a revamp--they're willing to pay to put Idol back on top," versus shows like The Voice and Dancing With the Stars, a source close to Idol told Radar.
