Beyonce can now add 'royalty' to her ridiculously long resume! The singer gets to be a queen on the screen in her new animated movie Epic.
"Once I learned about my character Queen Tara, I just had to be a part of it," Beyonce says. "I've always wanted to be a queen."
We thought she already was!
Queen B also spills on her favorite part of her character's personality in the movie. "What I like most about Tara is she sets a great example for the people she protects," Blue Ivy's mom explains. "The film is about how everything in our lives connects."
Josh Hutcherson, Steven Tyler and Pitbull also lend their voices to the movie as well.
Epic hits theaters on May 24.
