Justin Bieber’s parents are reportedly “at their wits’ end” and have asked him to ditch his “party entourage” while he is on tour.
The pop star has been having a rough time recently. Since splitting from Selena Gomez, he has been photographed seemingly smoking marijuana, accused of assaulting his neighbour and criticised for appearing late on stage during his world tour. His parents Pattie and Jeremy, as well as his manager Scooter Braun, apparently fear he is spending too much time with the wrong crowd.
“His parents are at their wits’ end. Even Selena is worried,” a source told British magazine Closer. “They’re saying he should ditch the party entourage he’s taking around Europe.”
Justin recently revealed just a few trusted friends – including best pal, rapper Lil Twist. He said his phone “never rings” and he doesn’t need a huge circle of companions to be happy.
However, some people who are close to Justin think he needs to put all his energy into his live shows – rather than having fun.
“They’re trying to persuade him he needs to ‘refocus’ on his tour – he’s been late on stage to most of his gigs and his health is suffering due to partying,” the source added. “But he is rarely answering their calls and he doesn’t seem to listen to anyone.”
Justin’s mom Pattie recently publicly expressed her concerns for the young star.
"Of course I pray for him and I encourage him," she said. "I can't really speak to how he handles that part of his life.
"Him being 19, you know, I've just gotta let go a little and let him make some of his own decisions. He's growing up. He's 19. He's not my baby."
