Justin Bieber recently put his foot in his mouth after he wrote something pretty interesting in a museum guest book!
While recently visiting Amsterdam, Justin stopped by the Anne Frank House where he not only learned about the historic Jewish girl but also left her a little note in the guest book.
"He stayed more than an hour in the museum. In our guestbook he wrote: 'Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber,'" said a museum official.
What's so wrong with that? Some people found it self serving and insensitive.
But a source connected to Bieber then contacted TMZ and said Justin spent a full hour in the museum learning about Anne Frank. He learned was that she was really into the pop culture of the time. The source says that is why he wrote his "Belieber" comment.
That gives it some context!
Do you think people need to back off of Bieber and relax a little? Or do you think his comment in the guest book was inappropriate?
