Harry Styles is given the brush-off by front row fan after he tries to woo her

ONE Direction heart-throb Harry Styles was knocked back when he tried to woo a 36-year-old fan backstage after the band’s sell-out gig in Scotland.

Michelle Mooney yesterday joked that the teenager was too young for her and said he was a “naughty boy”.

And she said she declined 19-year-old Harry’s invitation after being told her One Direction-mad nieces couldn’t join her backstage after the gig in Glasgow.

Harry has shown an enthusiasm for women in their 30s and famously dated 33-year-old TV presenter Caroline Flack.

Michelle said flirty Harry waved and winked at her as she watched Friday night’s show at the SECC from the front row with her nieces Anna, eight, and Sophie, nine.

She was wearing a white Team Harry T-shirt, which her nieces had bought for her especially for the concert.

Michelle, who works as an events manager at SoHo and private members club 29 in Glasgow city centre, said: “I was with my nieces and we were right at the front.

“Harry was smiling and winking at me all the way through the concert and people around us were saying he was staring at me.

“Afterwards, a security guard came up to me and said, ‘Would you like to come backstage and meet Harry?’

“I asked if I could bring my nieces and he said, ‘No, not really.’

“I wouldn’t have gone unless I could have brought them with me.”

Michelle wasn’t tempted by Harry’s advances despite being a huge fan of the band. She said: “I love One Direction and I do like Harry.

“But he is a naughty boy and he’s a bit young for me. I just don’t fancy him.

“The concert was amazing – my nieces said it was the best day of their lives.”

Her partner Michael Bergson, who owns SoHo bar and pizzeria and is also director at the city’s Corinthian Club, is away in Spain.

Michelle joked: “I don’t know what he’ll think when he gets back.”
