DISNEY star SELENA GOMEZ’s concerned inner circle held crisis meetings last week after she confirmed she was back with lover JUSTIN BIEBER.
Justin took to Instagram on Friday to post a picture of the actress cuddling his shirtless torso to boast about winning back the pretty actress.
He captioned the cheesy black-and-white shot: “‘You’ve been making music for too long babe come cuddle me’ — her.”
But while Justin is revelling in successfully persuading his girlfriend to rekindle their romance, her friends and colleagues are devastated.
One told me: “We did everything we could to keep them apart but he was so persistent.
“It’s really unhealthy they have such a turbulent relationship at such a young age.
“He leaves her in floods of tears constantly.
“She has had a really difficult year or so dealing with the tense emotions that come with dating him. We thought she had finally broken free. But he has persuaded her to take him back again. There’s not much we can do about it — but we are going to try.”
Justin has had a controversial year following his headline-making tour in England, where he ended up scrapping with a photographer and had a stint in hospital.
His latest scrapes include having his pet monkey, Mally, locked up in Germany and police finding marijuana on his tour bus in Sweden.
He first got together with Selena in late 2010 but they split two years later. Her pal said: “She spent the last year of their relationship an emotional wreck. And we can see no end in sight to this.”
The headline posted with the snap proves Justin and Selena are an item again. But in the picture she’s trying to distract him from writing another pop song — and his manager SCOOTER BRAUN has revealed he has penned hundreds of new tracks in recent months.
Pop mogul Scooter said: “I don’t ever disclose what our plans are but I will say this — he’s been writing one to two songs a day for the entire tour and he actually labels them by the city he writes them in.
“We started calling it his ‘music journal’ and we’re talking about what should come next musically. I think creatively he just wants to share all his thoughts through music.”
Some terrifying calculations suggest Justin has been on the road since September last year — which is more than 200 days.
At that rate, the baby-faced heart-throb has written around 400 new songs in the past eight months.
So despite her pals’ fears, perhaps his relationship with Selena should be encouraged after all.
Anything to get him away from the keyboard.
