'Well Done Everyone!': Liam Payne Leads One Direction Thank You Tweets After Comic Relief Performance


The One Direction boys wowed fans as they performed their hit single One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks) on Comic Relief last night and not forgetting the real reason behind the charity event, Liam Payne took to Twitter to urge fans to donate.

The boys' recent visit to Ghana was also aired during the BBC show last night, which saw each and every member break down in front of the camera as they were faced with the reality of what your money actually does to help others.

Liam Payne tweeted, when the final total was announced: "75 million raised yayy yuppie woohoo congratuwelldone everyone...that's only so far... http://comicrelief.com/donate I need to sleep now Good night" (sic)

And he wasn't the only one putting in a good word, band mate Harry Styles also tweeted beforehand: "Do something funny for money.. We shaved half of benwinston 's beard!! Happy Red Nose Day .xx"

Niall also tweeted earlier yesterday: "Happy @rednoseday ! Lookin forward to today! Hopefully Everyone gets behind a great cause"

EntertainmentWise were lucky enough to attend the 1D boys' pre-recorded Comic Relief performance yesterday.

Directioners went crazy as the boys donned red noses and showered the crowd with confetti as they belted out their smash hit, before host Dermot O’Leary quizzed the boys on their recent visit to Ghana to which they begged viewers to donate to the “worthy cause.”

Curly haired cutie Harry Styles continued to make the ladies scream after their performance, as he looked down the camera and made a special plea with people to give money.
