ONE Direction’s Louis Tomlinson has embraced Comic Relief by dying his hair RED.
Revealing his new image on BBC1’s charity show last night, he joined the rest of One Direction to perform the official Comic Relief single, One Way or Another.
After their energetic performance Harry Styles urged viewers to donate.
He said: “If you are a fan of us or not, please just donate anything you can.”
The band’s resident joker plumped for the new style after Doncaster Rovers FC petitioned him on Twitter.
The band really went all-out for charity this year as the lads also travelled to Africa to see how the money would help.
Louis and the rest of the boys became emotional when they visited a kids' hospital in Ghana.
A tearful Zayn said: “It’s so hard. No one expected anything like this.
"The babies aren’t even a year old.”
One Direction: Africa Diaries was shown throughout the evening and the full documentary is available to download on iTunes with all proceeds going to charity.
However, Louis wasn’t the only star to brave a dramatic new look for Comic Relief.
Jessie J also drastically changed her locks for charity as she shaved her head live on telly last night.
At the end of last night’s show, Comic Relief had raised a record £75million for good causes in the UK and Africa.
