While almost nobody could possibly relate to such strange circumstances, the guys of One Direction definitely can!
That's why, in the wake of heightened media criticism, Louis Tomlinson decided it was time to speak out on Justin's behalf.
The One Directioner took to his Twitter on Friday to defend his fellow superstar.
"Although I don't know him personally, I do wish the press would take it easy on @justinbieber," he tweeted.
Most of Louis' fans seemed supportive of his statement. It was retweeted over 109,000 times and almost 80,000 fans favorited it.
Louis followed up with a second statement about the Biebs, saying, "I really do empathise with him, I don't see anything out of character in comparison to any other teenagers I know."
We have to appreciate one star sticking up for another like that.
