Justin Bieber went through a fair few ups and downs during his stay in the UK last week and it was reported yesterday that the singer paid Amsterdam a visit to continue his partying, with sources now adding that Biebs took the trip 'to unwind.'
According to The Sun, the 'Baby' superstar was surrounded by minders the entire time, even when he paid 'The Chipsy King' takeaway a visit.
A source said: “Justin paid a very hush-hush visit to Amsterdam over the weekend. It had been a stressful week in the UK after showing up late for a gig and then having a run-in with a photographer."
They continued, “He needed to unwind. By the sounds of it, he should have been well relaxed by the time he left.”
And judging by Biebs' antics last week, it sounds like he definitely needed to unwind a little and that is just what he did! The singer was linked to a whole host of rather odd behaviour during his time in London, including being a whopping two hours late for his O2 arena gig, fainting on stage, wearing a bizarre gas mask and threatening to 'f**k up' a photographer.
o can you blame the 19-year-old for wanting to party a little? According to insiders Bieber was definitely up for doing that in Amsterdam, with sources claiming while at music venue club De Melkweg he picked two pretty girls from the crowd to party with him, but was left red-faced when he was told there were no tables available, showing the teenage tearaway the door, Perez Hilton reports.
Bieber got into a whole heap of trouble in January when a photo of the star appearing to smoke a blunt appeared online, but clearly in a city where that stuff is legal, he was seemingly able to indulge without any worry.
The heartthrob, according to the celeb journo, was spotted at popular coffee shop, Easy Time in the capital where he was spotted smoking a joint and eating a “space cake”, which is a cake made with the drug.
A weekend in the notorious city is hardly going to improve his bad boy image, following his difficult week. It appears the star was in search of some relief after his difficult week and when picking up some chips from eatery Chipsy King appeared relieved that no fuss was made.
"I got a call from my dad, his employee called him saying Justin Bieber was in our shop and had fries," Chipsy King marketing manager Amir Beaucaire told the website.
"He was with a couple of security guys," adding: "[He] is definitely the most famous person we have ever had to come to our store."
