Is Liam Hemsworth the glue that’s holding Miley Cyrus together?
The couple have been together since meeting on the set of their movie, The Last Song in 2009, announcing their engagement in June 2012. But when her fiancé, 23, isn’t by her side, Miley turns into a wild child— and her behavior has those around her alarmed.
From her crazy partying during Grammys weekend to angry tweets and suspicious scars on her wrist, insiders says that such behavior is “worrying more and more people in her camp.”
Since moving on from her Hannah Montana days, the former Disney star has been trying to reinvent her image, but stress over her career is contributing to her reckless conduct, suggests an insider. “She’s reinventing herself, and not everyone is ready for a new Miley,” the insider explains of a once-hot Miley whose last movie, So Undercover, went straight to DVD.
While Liam’s presence is clearly a stabilizing presence for the 20-year-old, she seems adrift when apart from her guy. “It’s sad—she needs order in her life,” says the insider. “But she’s out of control.”
