Taylor Swift headed in one direction at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday, and it wasn't towards a certain boy-bander.
To avoid her 18-year-old ex Harry Styles, Swift, 23, timed her appearance at the awards perfectly so the two never crossed paths.
"It was very carefully timed so they didn't do the carpet at the same time," an insider told Us Magazine. "Taylor didn't do any backstage interviews and didn't use a dressing room."
Styles appeared on the carpet first with his group One Direction and the Grammy-award winning singer showed up 25 minutes later looking beautiful in an Eli Saab gown.
Ironically, Swift performed her hit, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at the show, a song said to be about Jake Gyllenhaal, another one of the singer's exes. Reports say Swift looked directly at Styles as she belted out the tune.
The young couple called it quits after reportedly having a heated exchange during a British Virgin Islands vacation.
"They had a fight," an insider told Us at the time of the breakup. "[Styles] said something he shouldn't have."
For Swift, another one bites the dust.
