Justin Bieber's Believe tour rolled through Denver on Monday night and his biggest Olympic fan was there to meet him.
Four-time gold medalist Missy Franklin tweeted a backstage pre-concert photo with her favorite Canadian pop idol and appeared to be quite pleased with the one-on-one time.
Franklin tweeted:
With the Biebs😊 He truly is a wonderful and genuine person! Such an honor to meet him!
Wait, had they never met before? Even after Bieber sent her an Olympic care packages and Bob Costas made a primetime promise that the Biebs had promised a meeting? How had such a summit gone unplanned for so long? The Olympics were five months ago!
Also, does Franklin take a medal with her everywhere she goes? She has one in almosteveryphotoop. And you know what? That's awesome.
You always hear other Olympians try to act cool by saying they keep their medals in a sock drawer and never look at them. Forget that noise. If you got it, better flaunt it. Remind yourself why you're probably going to have to leave the Bieber show before he closes with Baby because you have practice at 4:45 a.m. tomorrow.
