A former bodyguard for Justin Bieber, Moshe Benabou, is suing Justin Bieber for assault and battery and unpaid wages.
As if Bieber does not have enough to worry about, add a lawsuit to his growing pile of stressors.
According to E! Online, the suit discussed a disparaging incident that took place on Oct. 12, 2012 backstage, prior to a concert, between Bieber and his bodyguard, Benabou.
"Justin Bieber, egged on by a small group of his 'companions,' launched an abusive tirade against Moshe Benabou," the document stated. "The tirade was apparently triggered by what Justin Bieber perceived as an attempt by Moshe Benabou to keep one member of Mr. Bieber's entourage physically away from Justin Bieber. As part of his tirade, Justin Bieber repeatedly punched [the plaintiff] in the chest and upper body area."
Benabou claims in the document that he did not try to protect himself nor retaliate against the singer’s jabs.
Apparently Bieber was still not done with him, though. Before leaving, he yelled, “You are fired!”
Bieber’s former bodyguard believes Justin and his management owe him $421,261 in overtime wages.
Gossip Cop reports that Benabou was an ex-Israeli soldier who worked with Bieber from March 2011 to October 2012.
“For nearly two years Mr. Benabou devoted himself completely to ensuring Mr. Bieber’s personal safety,” Moshe Benabou’s lawyer commented. “Mr. Benabou deserved, as does any employee, to be treated with respect, dignity and in accordance with the law. Unfortunately, he was not.”
As of now, Bieber’s team has not responded to these allegations.
