'Twilight Breaking Dawn' Tops Box Office, 'Killing Them Softly' Comes Up Short


The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 has topped this weekend’s box office for the third week straight with $17.4 million earned, breaking the $700 million mark globally!

The Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson flick has earned a total of $254.6 million domestically as well, according to THR.

Coming in at the number two spot was Daniel Craig‘s Skyfall, which earned $17 million, bringing its worldwide total to around $850 million.

Lincoln has claimed the number three spot with $13.5 million.

Rounding out the fourth and fifth slots were Rise of the Guardians and Life of Pi, which brought in $13.5 and $12 million, respectively.

In a disappointing debut, Brad Pitt‘s Killing Them Softly, which earned an F CinemaScore, opened this weekend at the number seven spot with $7 million grossed.
