Miley Cyrus has shared a piece of her childhood not many have seen before.
The outspoken singer is known for her risqué tweets, but on Friday Miley had Twitter followers cooing after she posted a picture of herself as a young girl whose adult teeth had just started coming in.
Miley, who turned 20 earlier this week, looks like she's only about eight or nine-years-old in the vintage shot she posted to commemorate what she called Flashback Friday.
The picture shows what Billy Ray Cyrus' little girl looked like before she hit it big on the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana that ran for five seasons starting in 2006.
She's laughing wildly at something unknown and her eyes are closed.
Miley's wide grin exposes two large front teeth and some other pearly whites that haven't come in completely.
Her apple-cheeked face and pointy chin are the essence of cuteness, and many of her fans who viewed the photo agreed.
'You were so cute back then! Omg!' a follower responded.
Another tweeted, 'You were so pretty even at that age how why bye.'
Another ventured to say, 'You were sweet, cute, adorable and pretty. And now you are Sexy, hot, untamed, wild and gorgeous.'
Miley tweeted back a response of her own: 'STOP IT! IM GONNA CRY :('
Earlier this week, Miley also shared pictures of the tiny pup that she added to her canine family, cute teacup terrier mix that she's named Penny Lane.
The star tweeted: 'I love Penny Lane.'
Meanwhile, the singer - who got engaged to her actor boyfriend Liam Hemsworth in June - is taking it slow when it comes to planning the wedding.
'I don't care what colour the napkins are, to be honest. I really don't care,' Miley told Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month. 'Because I didn't really realise until I got a wedding planning book what you have to decide on.
'It's a lot of weird detail,' she admitted. 'I don't want to be doing too much and be crazy and forget about the moment of it all.'
Miley is also working on her long-awaited next album.
'I'm so focused on my record. I kind of don't want to be in between touring and trying to plan all that.'
