Harry Styles sings duet with girlfriend Taylor Swift after New York gig

Harry Styles celebrated One Direction’s biggest gig yet by serenading new girlfriend Taylor Swift at the after-show party.

The pair sang a duet following the boys’ show in front of 20,000 fans at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Yesterday Harry tweeted: “Last night was the best thing I have ever done.”

The pair sang the Elton John and Kiki Dee classic Don’t go Breaking My Heart at the Hudson Hotel karaoke bash.

A partygoer said: “It was the perfect song for a new couple – they were both giggling as they sang it to one another.

"It was very fun and very relaxed. Everybody was in really high spirits. You could tell they are very comfortable in each other’s company.

“They were still smiling when they disappeared back to her hotel hand in hand in the early hours of the morning.”

Bandmate Niall Horan, 19, and pal Ed Sheeran, 21, – who opened for the band – joined the lovebirds to sing the Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way.

Liam Payne, 19, who rekindled his relationship with ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer, an X Factor dancer, while in New York for the gig, wrote: “What a night!

"I had soooo much fun! Thank you to everyone who came to see us and everyone of our fans who support us! I love you loads :)”

The couple split in August, blaming the increasing amount of time they spent away from each other.

Liam then went out with his long-term crush Leona Lewis, 27.

Zayn Malik, 19, was accompanied at the gig by his family and girlfriend Perrie Edwards, from X Factor’s winning band, Little Mix.

Her brother, Jonnie, also joined the boys for a song at the party .

Before Monday’s gig, Harry, 18, and country singer Taylor, 22, went for a romantic stroll through Central Park.

The smitten couple – dubbed “Haylor” by fans – were first spotted holding hands at the X Factor USA studios last month, when Harry was introduced to her mum.

Harry, who has previously dated DJ Lucy Horobin, 32, and Caroline Flack, 33, said of Taylor last week: “She honestly couldn’t be a sweeter person.

"She genuinely nice.”
