Wonder Girls′ leader Sun will be tying the knot with her boyfriend!
On November 27, Wonder Girls′ agency JYP Entertainment announced through a press release that "Wonder Girls′ leader Sun will be getting married on January 26, 2013."
The release added, "Sun, who has led the group as its leader for six years since its debut in 2007, recently opened up her thoughts to the Wonder Girls members and the agency. The members and the agency understood how her decision was made after careful consideration, and decided to respect it."
Sun plans to concentrate on her marriage and family for the time being, and the other Wonder Girls members will go on to individual solo ventures such as acting, producing, solo albums and variety appearances.
Last year Sun first revealed that she was dating a non-celebrity through SBS′ Strong Heart.
Rumors that she was getting married were published in September, but Sun herself stepped out to deny them, tweeting, "I want to say once more that the false news of my wedding next month is completely untrue," and "Like I said when I first revealed my relationship, if there is something in my life that is worth sharing with all of you, I promise to reveal it at the right time."
