Taylor Swift left CMAs empty-handed: She still has a lot to celebrate

Taylor Swift may have walked out of the CMAs without any awards Thursday night but, she has plenty to celebrate lately. Not only did she deserve praise for her performance of "Begin Again" at the show but, her release of “Red” is selling like wildfire.

Her latest effort has broken records as over a million copies were picked up in its first week alone. According to Entertainment Weekly, the singer’s fourth release represents the biggest single week for a release since 2002.

Even though Swift certainly doesn’t need any help marketing her music, Miranda Lambert’s plug during her acceptance speech seemed to be an unexpected surprise to Taylor. The female vocalist of the year told Swift that she had been listening to “Red” all week and it was “freakin’ awesome.” Lambert’s stamp of approval can’t hurt for sure.

The superstar’s latest achievements coupled with a hefty schedule, which includes a New Year's Eve Times Square performance as well as a massive tour, should keep her mind off of her recent break-up with Conor Kennedy and her love life in general.

That’s almost comical isn’t it? This is a girl who loves love and even though we’re taught that love can’t pay the bills, Taylor Swift has blown that right out of the water. She’s made quite a living off of love.
