Harry Potter star Emma Watson has decided to leave the fashion industry completely in order to focus more on her acting career. Her previous efforts have included serving as a creative adviser for People Tree, according to EntertainmentWise, as well as the face of Lancome cosmetics and Burberry fashion.
Watson is known for the look of Hermione Granger, her character in the Harry Potter movie franchise. But once the movie series concluded, she took her look to a new and dramatic level, with a super-short hair style and edgy makeup color choices. While these looks were out of character compared to her role as Hermione, this was exactly what she was going for. The British beauty is growing into her new style with each passing year and embracing her choices in cosmetics and hair trends based on her own interests, not what is expected of her.
Emma Watson still has all eyes on her as she steps out onto the red carpet, but that is not where her passion lies. Her passion is acting, and now that she knows this for certain she no longer has any interest in continuing with fashion. She claims she had fun with it when she was younger, but not anymore. Not only does Watson believe fashion doesn't have a place in her future, but she believes acting is the only thing that does. This is not to say the star will not continue setting trends in the future, just that trendsetting will not strictly be part of her career.
