DEMI LOVATO BELIEVES SHE COULD’VE DIED WITHOUT LOVE FROM HER FANS

Demi Lovato credits her Lovatics with saving her life. The singer and ‘X Factor‘ judge issued a series of tweets on Tuesday thanking her fans again for supporting her during her darkest days after she went to rehab two years ago.

Lovato wrote, “Was thinking earlier about some of my past struggles and how I got through them… I can honestly say I wouldn’t be alive today had I not had the support that you all gave me the past 2 years. A lot of celebrities say their thankful for their fans, but I can PROMISE you, there isn’t one day that goes by without thinking of your unconditional love and support. And when I say I love you, I do.”

The singer entered rehab in 2010 for treatment for various issues, including drugs and bulimia. She also cut herself out of frustration. “It started with my wrists,” she revealed earlier this year. “People saw that, so I cut in places they couldn’t see. You do it because you feel so bad inside. You don’t know how to take it out other than on yourself.”

Lovato has gotten healthy and turned her life around over the past two years, and her career has soared as well, with hit singles like ‘Skyscraper’ and ‘Give Your Heart a Break’ and her gig on ‘X Factor.’ She never wants her fans to forget the role they played in helping her get better. Fittingly, the Lovatics are nominated for the 2013 People’s Choice Award for Favorite Music Fan Following.
