One Direction may have swept the board at this weeks VMAs but fellow Brit boys The Wanted definitely win the award for the best networking! The band were spotted partying with an array of US stars after the LA ceremony.
Siva, Nathan, Tom, Max and Jay were invited to In Touch Weekly's 2012 Icons and Idols Party at the exclusive Chateau Marmont Hotel following the awards on Thursday night (September 6). The group may have lost out on the coveted 'Best New Artist' award to rivals One Direction but that didn't seem to stop them living it up at the starry party.
The group were pictured chatting with new friends including the Jonas Brothers and members of the Jersey Shore cast. At one point they seemed eager to have pictures taken with YouTube celebrity Keenan Cahill. Siva was spotted snapping a photo of Keenan with his girlfriend Nareesha.
It wasn't just the men that surrounded the boyband's table. Despite their girlfriends being present they were soon joined by a bevy of pretty girls, which we're sure newly single Max enjoyed!
The band's new mate Jersey Shore's Paul D provided the tunes at the celeb party, taking his turn in the DJ booth. And judging from the The Wanted's tweets, Pauly wasn't the only celeb they met. Max was busy tweeting the morning after the night before, posting:
"Top night last night!! Met so many stars!!! Think Nikki Minaj was my fave! #starstruck"
