Harry Styles is definitely earning the title ‘cougar hunter’ after apparently falling for another more mature lady – this time Natalie Imbruglia.
The 18-year-old One Direction singer had his head turned by “amazing” Natalie, 37, after meeting her at James Corden’s wedding reception last weekend, and is now said to be every inch the smitten kitten.
According to the Mirror, the pair spent the nights chatting to each other – and even arrived at breakfast together the next morning, after staying overnight in the same hotel.
Poor Harry is even said to have blushed bright red after the other guests whooped and cheered as they entered the room together.
“Everyone was talking about how Harry was really smitten with Natalie,” an insider told the paper.
“They got on like a house on fire and were clearly very into each other.
“The next morning Harry was given a grilling by the other guests. He was overheard telling one that he thinks Natalie is an amazing woman.”
If Nat and Harry did get together, the pair would certainly have plenty of things in common. Both singers, the couple would understand the pressures of working in the music industry.
Harry’s clearly a fan of Natalie’s music too, with One Direction having performed a rendition of her biggest hit Torn during the X Factor Live Final in 2010.
Natalie was also as a guest judge on the 2010 show, when she watched One Direction member Liam Payne’s audition of Cry me a River, when the boys auditioned as solo artists before being put in a group together.
So we’re sure the stunning Aussie singer and Harry would have plenty to talk about if they did decide to date!
If they do get together romantically, it won’t be the first time Harry has fallen for a woman considerably older than him. Last year he dated Caroline Flack, who at 32 was 15 years older than Harry, then 17.
Caroline faced a huge backlash from One Direction fans on Twitter, jealous at their relationship – and she also faced criticism in the media for the age gap between her and Harry, with many commenting on the fact that Harry was still under 18 at the time.
So it’d be interesting to see if Harry and Natalie did get together if they would face a similar negative response.
And we wonder how model Cara Delevingne – whom Harry has been seen romancing on the town in recent weeks – will feel about his new rumoured crush…
