One Direction’s Harry Styles knows that giving his spotlight to charity causes sometimes is part of being famous and he doesn't mind helping. The entertainer might be busy getting ready for the release of Live While We’re Young, but he has time for his mom and her charity. Taking to Twitter on Thursday the entertainer asked his fans to consider sponsoring her for her climb of Mount Kilimanjaro for a charity that helps terminally ill children.
“Hi guys, my mum is climbing mount Kilimanjaro for charity and she goes tomorrow. You can sponsor her here if you want!” tweeted harry Styles from his official Twitter account. The entertainer gave a link that directed people to a donation page and more details about the project.
According to the website, the charity climb of Harry Styles' mom for the Believe in Magic has reached 281% of the goal (or almost three times what was asked.) The announcement on Harry Styles’ page will only increase the donations further and his mom can expect to see the donations to grow.
The Believe in Magic is a charity that helps seriously and terminally ill children in the UK find a moment to look past their health issues and enjoy life. It sounds like a wonderful charity that will have many happy children with all the donations that are flowing in thanks to Harry Styles' mom.
