Selena Gomez fans hoping to see the star in any Disney-esque films in the future are going to be sadly disappointed.
Yep, Selena took a break from snogging Justin Bieber, making hilarious 'Fifty Shades of Grey' parodies and eating a mahoosive birthday cake to let us all know that she WON'T be making any more 'Monte Carlo' type movies.
Speaking to Teen Vogue, Selena said: "Monte Carlo was a good step for me at the time, but I would never want to do something like that again."
But despite the fact that Selena seems determined to put her Disney days behind her, the rest of the world haven't quite caught up yet.
"It's frustrating whenever I want the roles that no one's even thinking about me for, and being like, 'No' with all these other ones," she said.
"I don't necessarily feel accomplished. I want to create a whole different persona when it comes to acting."
Considering Selena is only 20 years old and probably does more in a week than we do in a year, we don't think she has too much to worry about just yet in terms of 'accomplishment'.
However, her latest film projects to suggest that she is trying to cultivate a more 'gritty' image.
Take Spring Breakers, for example - which sees Selena star alongside Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson as a group of co-eds who get arrested when they decide to start robbing convinence stores.
Yeah, we don't see Mickey Mouse getting involved in shenannigans like that.
She's also just landed a role in new indie flilck 'Parental Guidance Suggested' - the name says it all really, doesn't it.
