ONE of the world's biggest stars has made a surprise appearance to the Australian concept club where Olympic athletes party with fans.
Zayn Malik, from One Direction, sent girls wild when he arrived at the Last Lap at Soho's exclusive Chinawhite venue in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The teen heart throb was whisked to a private booth in the clubs VIP room where security kept over eager fans at bay.
The 19-year-old knocked back bottles of Grey Goose vodka with his small entourage, which included his girlfriend, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.
When the LMFAO hit Sexy and I Know It was played, Malik jumped onto one of the couches and started crazily dancing.
"It's insane to think he is in the same club," said Anna Harvey, from Brisbane, who earlier in the day had watched the tennis.
"I really want a picture with him."
Among the other big names enjoying the Last Lap were four time Olympic gold medal winner Lenny Krayzelburg, actor Zachery Levi, Australian TV personality Eddie McGuire, Collingwood AFL player Luke Ball, rugby union star Danny Cipriani and pop singer Shayne Ward.
Superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold spun up a storm, but it was the sight of Malik partying that had the crowd buzzing, including comedian Mick Molloy.
"It is terrible because we've both got the same hairstyle tonight," Molloy told London Confidential.
"You know the look where you've been turned upside down and dipped in one of those fairy floss things.
"It is very awkward for us because it is like two bulls in a paddock when we are in the same room."
The Last Lap was created for the 2000 Sydney Games and is quickly becoming the hottest ticket in London.
The cream of Australia's swim team are expected there this weekend as their competition wraps up.
