One Direction have been called many things but we don't think they've ever been called "little buggers"...until now!
Believing that she played a pivotal role in forming the boyband that have gone on to have phenomenal success both in the UK and the US, new permanent judge Nicole Scherzinger joked that Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne were "little buggers" for still not sending her flowers.
Speaking about the band and the part she played in forming them, MSN reported the star saying:
"Those little buggers! I haven't received flowers yet from them - I'm waiting!
"It's crazy to see how massive they are - they just performed at the Olympics. It feels like yesterday since we were auditioning them and I was like, 'let's put them together'. It feels wonderful to have had a helping hand in that."
Despite giving up her role as a judge on the X Factor USA just after one season, the former Pussycat Doll revealed that coming to the UK and taking on the role as a judge on the UK version was an "easy decision" to make because the UK is her "second home".
She revealed: "England is my second home; it feels great here. I've had a warm reception from all the other judges and my fans here are the best.
"It fits in perfectly with everything going on in my life right now. This is where I got my start with the X Factor family; I was so well received here so I hope I don't mess it up this time!"
