MILEY Cyrus has gotten a "Rachel".
The singer showed off her new cut to her Twitter followers, and it was certainly a surprise; out went the brown bun and in came a sizzling blonde.
Cyrus's new look was created by the same celebrity stylist who made Jennifer Aniston's hair for Friends a star in its own right.
"Mane Man" Chris McMillan straightened Cyrus's hair, cut it short and dyed it blonde - all for a rumoured $1000.
Both he and Cyrus tweeted updates and posted pics of the pair in action.
"Who says @ChrisMcMillan doesn't colour?" Cyrus tweeted. "Oh yeah Chris himself :) just for his favourite little angel."
But for those who are worried the Bun is dead, Cyrus posted a picture of herself with her newly blonde hair tied up in her trademark style.
"Whew. Still fits in bun," McMillian tweeted.
