Liam Payne and girlfriend Danielle Peazer made the most of the stunning weather by spending the day at Chelmsford's V Festival.
The loved-up pair were seen wandering around the VIP backstage area hand-in-hand as they enjoyed some quality time together.
For once Liam wasn't surrounded by his bandmates who had already made a bit of a dash for it.
Danielle looked relaxed in short denim cut-offs, heavy duty boots and a vest, while Liam looked cool in a pair of black Ray-Ban sunglasses and white Converse trainers.
It seems some of the other members of One Direction were forced to flee V Festival yesterday after being mobbed by hysterical fans.
Harry Styles later turned up at a party in London, while Zayn Malik was seen at club G.A.Y where Little Mix were performing.
The singer, who recently returned from Canada with the band, was seen sneaking into club Heaven via the back door to join the crowd waiting to see the X Factor winners appear on stage.
