British actress Emma Watson, famous for her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter movies, is currently in Iceland to shoot scenes for Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, along with Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly, among others.
Watson has actively reported on her experiences in Iceland via Twitter and recently declared her love for Icelandic music, the hipster band Of Monsters and Men and soloists Ólafur Arnalds and Sóley.
A few days after her tweet, Watson and Ólafur had dinner together where they discussed possible collaboration. Ólafur told RÚV that some things may be in the pipelines but plans are at a sensitive stage and so he would not comment on any details.
The actress has been enjoying city life, it seems, going to the cinema and exploring the nightlife, tweeting: “Icelandic clubs are like mosh pits! I'm going back with an icelandic dance ARMY!!! Haha.”
Earlier this week, the film crew of Noah was given permission to limit traffic on the road Þrengslavegur, connecting Reykjavík and Þorlákshöfn, while they were filming in and around the cave Raufarhólshellir, where a huge set had been made, ruv.is reports.
