Happy 20th Birthday, Demi Lovato!
The “Give Your Heart a Break” singer celebrated turning the big 2-0 early this weekend with friends and a birthday dinner. On Monday, her actual birthday, she received an outpouring of birthday wishes from her Lovatics, as well as some of her famous friends.
Demi Lovato has a new gig as X Factor judge. She has bonded with Simon Cowell, whom she playfully bickers with on the show.
“Happy Birthday Brat (@ddlovato) lots of love. Simon,” Cowell wrote.
Demi has also called Miley Cyrus one of the few friends that would “never leave my life no matter what.” Cyrus, 19, who celebrates her own 20th birthday this November, sent a sweet message to her friend.
“@ddlovato happy birthday beautiful ❤ I'm sending you lots if x's not wasting time on o's =] have the best day everrrr xxxx,” Miley wrote.
“@MileyCyrus thank you so much lady.. Miss you TONS.. Love you.. xxx!!” she responded.
Demi and One Direction’s Niall Horan have gotten close. They have been the subject of romance rumors that they continue to deny. That didn’t stop Niall from sending his own sweet birthday message.
“@ddlovato happy birthday honey!” he wrote. “Have a lovely day! See ya soon.”
Demi replied, “@NiallOfficial thank you sweet stuff! :)”
Lovato is close with the Kardashian sisters. Although they may seem like an unlikely pair, Demi said Kim was a friend she could count on during those rough times when "not too many people were." On her birthday, Kim and her sister Khloe wrote their own birthday messages to the star.
“Happy 20th Birthday DemDem!!!! I love you.” Wrote Kim. Khloe added, “Happy Birthday @ddlovato!!!!!! May glitter rain all around you today! Shine on baby doll!!!! Muah!!!”
Lovato received a lot of love today. She made sure to tell everyone how appreciative she was for all the birthday wishes.
“Thank you all so much for my sweet birthday wishes!!!” she wrote. "Love you all!!”
