Perrie is really happy and thinks that being in the same industry helps their relationship.
One Direction star Zayn Malik and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards love the fact they're both kicking off their music career at the same time.
Now magazine report the 19-year-old star said: “I'm really happy. When you both do the same kind of thing, there's more understanding because you both get it and it's more exciting when you see each other.”
The pair were first linked back in November, with reports surfacing they'd shared a kiss backstage at The X Factor.
But it was only in April that their relationship became public, tweeting about a hot cinema date.
Perrie Tweeted: “Just went to see Avengers Assemble and it was #boring. Good night, though! @zaynmalik.”
The gorgeous hunk replied: “Yeah, tonight was fun. Let's do it again some time xx.”
It was only a few weeks later, on 9 May, Zayn was snapped sneaking out of Perrie's London pad after spending the night with her.
