When celebrities reach the level of superstardom that Zayn Malik and his One Direction mates have reached, they tend to do some pretty bone-headed things with their money. But not Zayn. It’s being reported today that he’s choosing to invest his money in a new home.
The Sun reports that the 19-year-old singer has dropped a cool £2.2 million (roughly $3.4 million USD) on a home in London. A source tells the paper, “Zayn is trying to be smart with his money by putting it into bricks and mortar.”
The house, reportedly only a few streets over from where he stayed during his days on The X Factor, appealed to Zayn, in part, because of a huge indoor swimming pool. “He’s already planning some pool parties for when the band are back in town,” the source said.
