One Direction Working With Ed Sheeran On New Album!

It is a collaborative dream come true! Everyone's favourite ginger-haired singer Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he will be helping out One Direction on their next album.

To the delight of Directioners the boys have revealed that they will have a new album out by the end of the year (2012) -- with rumours that they will be in the studio this summer.

And now in a recent interview, Ed has revealed that he will be passing on two of his unreleased tracks to the boys for album number two!

He said, "I wrote a couple of songs when I was 17 that One Direction want for their next album. I'm going into the studio in August to produce the tracks for them."

But don't get too excited to hear a musical collaboration between the two -- Ed said, "there's definitely a divide in genre," so he won't be featured on the tracks.

Ed previously wrote Moments that featured on One Direction's Up All Night.
