Former ‘teenybopper’ and Disney star, Nick Jonas has moved on to bigger and better things. Jonas made his debut on Broadway starring in Annie Get Your Gun, then Les Miserables, and Hairspray. Now he has embarked on the fourth musical of his Broadway career starring in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. On May 8, Jonas released an EP that includes five tracks from his Broadway musical.
The EP was released by Broadway records and produced by six-time Grammy nominee, Robert Sher. The five song track list includes the following, "How To Succeed" (Nick Jonas), "Company Way" (Nick Jonas and Rob Bartlett),"Rosemary" (Nick Jonas and Rose Hemingway), "I Believe In You" (Nick Jonas), and “Brotherhood of Man" (Nick Jonas).
When listeners play the EP, track one, “How to Succeed” will immediately grab their attention with Jonas belting out with a voice far matured from his Disney days. Jonas perfectly demonstrates the staples of Broadway singing with a crisp and clear intonation in his voice and bellowing vibrato.
The Jonas Brothers included Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and the youngest Jonas, Nick. After listening to this EP it is evident that Nick has grown up and distinguished himself in a solo career that is sure to evolve and continue to impress.
Jonas takes on the leading role of J. Pierrepont Finch. Fellow celebrities like Harry Potters Danielle Radcliffe and Glee's Darren Criss have also taken on the role of Finch.
