Miley Cyrus sings for Microsoft, plugs Xbox Kinect

What did you miss if you weren't among the screaming throngs of people lined up at dawn outside Microsoft's new Bellevue store last week to score free passes to a Saturday afternoon Miley Cyrus concert? The video above, one of many clips posted to YouTube, provides a pretty good sense for what it was like at the outdoor show.

The pop star sang six songs and was on stage for somewhere around 20 minutes, according to various online reports from people who were there. The brevity didn't go over too well with some people who were expecting more from their freebies, as you can tell from the comments on this KING-5 report from the show.

The show happened to fall on Miley's birthday, and another video includes a snippet of the singer on stage thanking Microsoft for the "cool gifts," including a Kinect controller for Xbox 360. [Update: Miley's birthday is technically Tuesday, for the record.]

"My mom killed me today. We were playing, I lost so bad, but I had some fun," she says. "It's my new training for tour."
