Sources in the US have claimed that teen idol Justin Bieber is paying off the photographer who allegedly got into a scuffle with him last month in return for a major payout.
Jose Sarros clashed with the ‘Boyfriend’ star while he was on a date with Selena Gomez at The Commons shopping centre in Calabasas, Los Angeles and is reportedly working on a deal with the singer to drop charges of alleged assault, which the police have been treating as a case of misdemeanor battery.
“Jose will drop his pursuit and get some exclusive shots in return of Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez which in turn would give him quite a lot of money,” an insider told HollywoodLife.
The deal would include staged shots of the 18 year-old with his stunning girlfriend Selena, who was reportedly going to be interviewed by police over the incident as a witness.
“Since they would be photos that would be exclusive for him. Jose will be tipped off where Justin and Selena are at times and he will get first dibs on shots and other setups," they added.
Whatever deal they strike, the source claims Sarros knows he is in a powerful position as Justin’s image would be severely damaged by any kind of conviction in the case.
“It’s currently a work in progress and in the early stages.” the source explained. “But if it doesn’t benefit Jose, he won’t do it.”
Justin reunited with his girlfriend after a promotional tour of Europe in New York earlier this week. The couple seemed unfazed by the ongoing problems of the case and looked as loved up as ever.
