Justin Bieber fan’s unique video for ‘Girlfriend’ contest goes viral

A creative Justin Bieber fan brought new meaning to the term, "new look video."

A YouTube user by the handle wrz0713 created a viral video sensation Thursday after posting a unique entry for Bieber's contest asking fans to post a "Girlfriend" version for his hit song, "Boyfriend."

In the three minute clip, she serenades viewers with lyrics that are slightly tweaked from the original, detailing plans for her relationship with the Canadian superstar.

"If I was your girlfriend / I'd never let you leave / Without a small recording device / Taped under your sleeve," she sings, all the while holding a creepy stare aimed at the camera.

The contest which began on June 4 will end on June 21, when Beiber plans to announce the winner.

The grand prize is a paid trip for two to either Los Angeles or New York to attend to a Bieber contest as a VIP. The winning video will also appear on NBC during an upcoming special and as a television commercial. Other amenities for the first place winner include a year's supply of the new Justin Bieber fragrance and a signed copy of the singer's latest CD, "Believe."

Encouraged by Bieber to "keep it simple" on his website interested participants should submit entries including the music track he provides and themselves.
