Justin Bieber celebrates 'Believe' release with party, David Letterman scolds him about tattoos

Justin Bieber had an album release party for his newest album Believe, with the singer celebrated amongst friends, family and music executives.

Bieber had about 75 people at the party celebrating what they hope to be a very successful new album. However, considering Bieber is only 18, there were non-alcoholic cocktails made in honor of him.

There was the “Boyfriend” mocktail, aptly named after his hit single, and there was the “All Around the World” (another single); both drinks having key ingredients such as lime and grenadine.

"Everyone ate and hung out while watching the NBA Finals," an insider told People about the party at Sons of Essex in New York City.

There was no shortage of food at the party, as partygoers munched on menu items such as five-spice pork belly sliders, burgers, ribs, truffle grilled cheese, chicken & waffles, mac 'n' cheeseballs and mushroom truffle pizza.

Bieber’s girlfriend, Selena Gomez, was the only one missing from the event on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, Bieber appeared on Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday night, where the talk show host scolded the singer for getting a tattoo of Believe on his arm.

"How does that help how you look to have a tattoo?" Letterman asked Bieber, The Hollywood Reporter writes.

“Do me a favor -- don't go nuts, you know what I mean?" he also said. "Because more and and more, you see the 'mural' and like the Sistine Chapel ... it's too much.”
