WELL THAT'LL PUT A STILETTO IN THE WORKS
Apart from the fact that we can't walk in them and they often make our feet numb, we'd always assumed that the humble stiletto was a fairly innocent object. Well apparently not as according to reports, a pair of high heels were at the centre of a lover's tiff between Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez.
We often hear strange rumours about celebs and their mental showbiz ways, but we have to say that we were fairly surprised to hear it suggested that a pair of shoes could cause a barney between El Biebo and ovebird in crime Selena.
The high heels at the centre of the controversy are allegedly a pair of 5 inch platforms heels, that Selena supposedly popped on to top off her outfit for a night out with the Biebs.
According to reports, her boyfriend wasn't overjoyed at her towering height for their quiet dinner out and asked he to take them off.
Unsurprisingly enough, it was an anonymous source that apparently spilt the beans to the National Enquirer, saying "When Selena refused to change her high heels, Justin refused to dine out."
Oh Selena, what were you thinking? Everyone knows a clog or jelly shoe are fine at tea time, but we can't even think about our cheese on toast if there's a platform shoe in the room.
Seriously though, we know Justin's not the tallest person out there, but having seen them out together looking smiley with Selena in heels an estimated 345,238,949 times, this all seems a touch unlikely to us.
