Everyone, be prepared to see a whole lot more Jonas this fall! Joe Jonas announced on Monday that he will be judging a new reality singing competition show called The Next, which will debut on the CW this August.
Joe will join Gloria Estefan, John Rich and Nelly as judges on the show, but of course, there's a twist to make this more than just another singing competition! Joe and his co-judges will be moving in with contestants for 72 hours before their audition to help them prepare.
Meanwhile, Joe's ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato will also be a judge on a singing show this fall (she'll be sitting alongside Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid for The X-Factor), and Joe opened up to Ryan Seacrest about his feelings for Demi! "I think she's gonna be great," he says. "I'm so happy for her."
Joe continued to express how happy he is for his ex, despite their troubled past and break-up, but now, the real question is -- which star's show will be more successful!? Of course, Demi does have a leg up because The X-Factor is in it's second season and there has been a ton of publicity with her and Britney coming to the show. However, the show didn't do too hot in it's first season, so Joe's The Next has the advantage of a fresh, new spin on a singing competition.
