Justin Bieber’s scuffle with a photographer that resulted in a criminal complaint filed against him is ringing alarm bells with his mother, who fears he’s becoming short-tempered like his hotheaded father, according to a new report.
Mom Pattie Mallette, who raised Justin as a single mother, is reportedly “terrified” that Justin is iolizing his mean-tempered father, Jeremy Bieber.
“Pattie accused Justin of turning into the spitting image of his father – and that’s the last thing in the world she wants,” a family source told The National Enquirer.
“She told him she won’t tolerate him turning into a ‘violent, arrogant, self-centered narcissist’ like his dad, and she’s demanding he get his anger issues resolved now.”
Justin, 18, allegedly roughed up a photographer who tried to take a photo of him with girlfriend Selena Gomez in Calabasas, Calif. The photog allegedly refused to move when Justin tried to pull out of a parking spot in his car.
But a lawyer who was nearby and possibly witnessed the incident told the photographer he should file charges and sue Bieber for damages, suggesting the singer was the aggressor.
Father Jeremy, 37, is a former mixed martial arts fighter with a long history of bar brawls and blowups, according to The Enquirer. He abandoned Justin at an early age, but the two later reconciled.
“Pattie knows Justin has a tendency to lose his temper, and that’s why she wants him to nip his anger issues in the bud now – before he blows up and someone gets hurt,” the source said.
