Delta Goodrem has opened up about her relationship with teen heartthrob Nick Jonas in a brand new interview with 60 Minutes!
Delta is currently riding high thanks to her role as a coach on The Voice, but of course we're all more interested in her personal life!
Delta and Nick broke up earlier this year, after going public with their relationship in May last year.
On the topic of Nick, Delta said, "Maybe it's that I'm interested in challenges. Maybe I'm one of these spirits who goes, 'Ooh, what is this lesson here? What am I learning here?' . . . There was a genuine love, definitely."
And while Delta had nothing but nice things to say about Nick, she was more scathing about her previous ex Brian McFadden. The pair were together for seven years, and Delta wishes she'd dumped Brian earlier on in their relationship.
Delta said, "It was a genuine love, so I can't sit here and say it wasn't, because it was at one point. I was very young when I met Brian. It lasted a long time. Do I wish that it ended earlier? Yes. Do I wish I had the courage to leave earlier? Yes, I do.
"I think what we came to is that we were very different people -- extremely different people . . . I think when your heart's been broken so many times along the way, by the time it really is over, I was exhilarated with the anxiety of freedom, as well. On one hand, it was a real relief. And then I jumped into another relationship that was completely different."
