Justin Bieber's new album, the long-anticipated 'Believe' is making beliebers out of fans so much that it looks to be debuting in the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 200. The album has the best first week of sales in 2012.

The 18-year-old Canadian singer's record was released June 19 and is expected to finish its first week on June 24 with over 400,000 in sales. Those official numbers, and the new chart, will be released on Wed. June 27.
Reviewers believe in Bieber's 'Believe'

The album has received off-the-charts reviews in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and elsewhere. Typical is this review of Edmonton Journal writer Sandra Spurounes: "Even music critics can no longer resist Justin Bieber. His third effort, Believe, is a monster of a dance-pop album - with at least five or six singles threatening to top the charts over the next two or three years."

Bieber's first two full-length albums were 'My World 2.0'and his 2011 Christmas album 'Under the Mistletoe.' The sales of 'Believe' are being helped by masterful marketing. For example, to keep fan anticipation at a high degree, Bieber regularly tweeted additional information on the record. He released the title early in the year and in late April the album cover. He and manager Scooter Braun also released in increments information about other artists on the album.

To support the album, Bieber heads out on his 'Believe Tour' at the end of September.
