One Direction Thank Fans For 'Incredible' US Tour Show

One Direction have thanked their US fans for an 'incredible' night at last night's show as part of their current North American tour.

The 'One Thing' band kicked off their first headline tour stateside earlier this week (May 22) which so far has seen them play sold-out show in Uncasville, Connecticut before taking to the stage last night at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

"The show tonight was absolutely insane!" One Direction's Harry Styles tweeted yesterday (May 25).

"Thank you for having us Fairfax.xx." "Incredible gig in fairfax tonight! Sooooo loud!" Niall Horan also posted.

"We had soo much fun on stage!"

Louis Tomlinson added: "Great gig tonight. Hope everyone is ok!! X."

Meanwhile, The Wanted could be set for a busy summer - as One Direction's Louis Thomlinson might need their support on the upcoming One Direction US tour.

Louis told The Mirror: " We are hoping that they'll still get on with us, because, you know, there is potentially a spot on our arena tour for them to support us.

"I was going to say something rude then. Or something sexual. But that's something The Wanted would say."

The Wanted were critical of One Direction's US success earlier this year, although Wanted singer Nathan Sykes suggested he'd be happy to collaborate with One Direction on a charity song.
