Zayn Malik's mum has revealed that she owns some embarrassing footage of the One Direction star.
Tricia Brannan, 42, filmed Zayn, 19, performing an R Kelly song when he was a child - but unfortunately for 1D fans it seems it'll never see the light of day.
'Zayn was always playing music on his computer and singing along to it for hours,' says Tricia.
'I have quite a few videos of him singing as a little boy but he's banned me from showing anyone.
'My favourite is him singing I Believe I Can Fly wearing a green dressing gown.'
Since One Direction released their debut single What Makes You Beautiful 7 months ago, Zayn and his band mates Louis Tomlinson, 20, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, all 18,have been spending lots of time overseas.
But Tricia admits she's still not used to being away from her son.
'When he leaves home I cry at the gate and he says: "Mum! I'm not going to war!",' Tricia tells the Daily Mirror.
'A driver comes for him and I have to stand there and wave back.'
